Coach Partin on Bass: "Slap is really active in the infield. He's got good hands, arm strength and he positions himself well to make plays. He's got a great idea at what he's doing at the plate. He's a tough out. He can shoot the ball away to left-field and he can bang balls middle-in to the gaps. He does all the little things well on the baseball field. He's one of our leaders."

- Favorite Coach Partin Quote or Action:
"Ok guys, we got them right where we want them!" - After a team got up 10 runs on us.

- Most Memorable Moment as a DIRTBAG:
Playing in the National Championship game at the 2007 WWBA Underclassman Tournament in Fort Myers, FL.

- Advice to Other Players Wanting to be a DIRTBAG: You better work hard, hustle, play every game like it's the last game of your life. Be excited about putting your uniform on and being able to play. And you better always compete!

- What is a DIRTBAG to You?: A Dirtbag is someone who is willing to do anything for the team. Someone who is willing to work to maintain the level of excellence that has already been established by former Dirtbags now playing in college and professional baseball. A Dirtbag always hustles, gets dirty, competes and does what it takes to win every game. It is an honor to wear a Dirtbag uniform.

- What is Your Outlook on the Team's 2008 Season?:
I'm extremely excited about our 2008 team. We are going to work hard every day so we can get back in the championship game of the WWBA and this time bring home the rings.
