Brown is in his fifth season with the Dirtbags. Brown is the current head baseball coach at Hopewell high school.

"Nab" was recently named 2005 Region 5 Coach of the Year in North Carolina and he is a former State Games of North Carolina Coach.

The New Bern, North Carolina native is an Associate Scout with the Pittsburg Pirates and is a popular face at numerous college baseball camps.

Brown resides in the Huntersville, North Carolina area with his wife Kristen and their two dogs.
