Partin on Graham: "Matt Graham
is an absolute freak. He's got no fear on the mound and he's ferocious. If
Graham wants to use a one pitch menu he can. He can dominate a game simply
with his fastball. He sits in the lower 90's, touching 94 mph or better. And
it's not a straight 94 mph - that thing is moving all over the place. Not to
be overshadowed by his fastball, Graham flashes one of the most dominant
power curveballs I have seen. It's a hard upper 70's downward tilting
knockout-pitch. He's the guy you want on the mound if there's one game you
need to win. The humble right-hander is in a class by himself. We're very
excited to have him in a Dirtbag uniform again in 2008.
