Coach Partin on Griffin: "Lively body with an electric arm. He was up to 87 mph with us this past fall, and he's a 2011 graduate. His stuff is highly advanced for his age. Griff has a very high ceiling and he's a very gifted athlete. I'd say he's got better stuff than 99% of the seniors in North Carolina right now. He's got feel for the strike zone with his fastball and he can really spin the breakingball too. Griff is another guy we're very excited to watch develop in our proven system. He's a big part of the future for us, but we're looking for him to make a positive impact in our program right now."
