Jonathan Holt - 3B/P

College: Undecided
Class: 2010
HS: West Forsyth

Coach Partin on Holt: "Holt's a grinder, a throwback. He has been with us longer than any other 2010 graduate we have in our program. He understands what we are all about. We look for him to help lead our team this season. Holt's always had impressive bat speed and hitting power. He's quick through the hitting area and he can cause damage with the bat. He's not a burner, but he runs the bases real well - aggressive. He makes the plays at third-base and he's got arm strength. From the mound he fills up the strike zone and he's got pitch-ability. Holt was one of the reasons we were so successful in Fort Myers last October. We look for him to produce for us again in 2008."

Favorite Coach Andy Partin Quote or Action (on the field): "Have no worries... I'll find who we need. The few... The proud... The Dirtbags." - When asked who we were going to recruit for this season.

- Most Memorable Moment as a DIRTBAGPlaying in the finals of the World Wood Bat Championship in Fort Myers.

- Advice to Other Players Wanting to be a DIRTBAGIt's something that you must have the discipline to accomplish. It is something you have to work for everyday. It doesn't come with talent, its the hard work and determination that will get you noticed.

- What is a DIRTBAG to You?A Dirtbag is player you can tell stands above the rest. He carries himself with different standards. He works hard everyday to be better than the guy next to him. He is one who gets after it every time he steps on the field. A Dirtbag is someone who has true love for the game.

- What is Your Outlook on the Team's 2008 Season? With the returning players and the new additions we should have a tough team to beat. I'm looking forward to an exciting season and a return to the World Wood Bat Championship Game.
