Partin on McBride: "Nick is amazingly resilient. He bounces back outing to outing better than anybody else in our program. When he gets in to a rhythm he can mow through a line-up. His fastball seems to explode on hitters. He's been up to 89 mph with us and he really projects. He's long, strong and real athletic. Nick brings stability to our pitching staff. We know we can run him out there and get what we need out of him. He's got good stuff. He's a real serviceable athlete for us since we can use him in a lot of roles. Great teammate and make-up is through the roof."

- Advice to Other Players Wanting to be a DIRTBAG: Love the game, and love playing the game. Have fun playing the game and work hard at the game and you'll get noticed.

- What is Your Outlook on the Team's 2008 Season?: We are going to be tough to stop. I think we have a chance to be the best Dirtbag team yet. We plan to get our picture on the cover of the Perfect Game program!
