"Millzy" oversees the Dirtbag's pitching staff and assists with recruiting. He's in his fifth season with the Dirtbags. Mills is a former standout right-handed pitcher for the Pirates of East Carolina University where he starred under Coach Gary Overton.

Mills is currently the head baseball coach at 2006 & 2005 State Champion DH Conley high school. Mills was recently named 2006 Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year by the ABCA. He was the 2005 Region 1 Coach of the Year in North Carolina and he is a current State Games of North Carolina Coach.

The Maryland native works numerous college baseball camps and is an Associate Scout with the Major League Scouting Bureau.

Mills resides in Eastern North Carolina and lives with his wife (Lynne), son (Nolan), and daughter (Laney).
