Coach Partin on Overman: "Overman is a specimen at 6'-3" 200 lbs and he's scary with the bat. He's going to settle in the heart of our line-up before it's all said and done. He's an athletic player who brings a lot to our team. He's 86-88 mph off the bump and he can bang it from the left-side. Real fluid, sweet swing and he's got huge power. He plays firstbase like a shortstop. He obviously throws real well and he's versatile on the baseball field. He can play both corner infield and outfield spots as well as pitch."
