Coach Partin on Thomas: "Thomas is going to be an offensive catalyst for the Dirtbags. He's an upper-echelon left-handed hitter. Thomas is a speedy, extra-deluxe talent. I think he's going to be a numbers machine for us. Lots of hits and stolen bases for this guy. Top-flight defender in the outfield and he throws real well too. He's got lots of ability on the mound as well. Thomas will pitch a lot of valuable innings for us in 2008. We're very excited to have DJ Thomas in a Dirtbag uniform."
