Morgan O'Neal

Morgan O'Neal enters his second season with the Dirtbags. O'Neal was an outstanding catcher at Louisburg College under legendary skipper Russ Frazier. He transferred to Elon University and worked under current Tulane University skipper Rick Jones. O'Neal is a very familiar face among college baseball coaches. He works numerous college baseball camps throughout the year and is well known for his "batting practice" throwing skills. O'Neal was the head coach at Lawrence Academy for three years before becoming an assistant coach at East Carolina University under Coach Gary Overton. After his tenure with the Pirates, he went on to coach ten years at West Craven high school, five of those were as a head coach. He's currently an assistant coach at DH Conley high school working under current Dirtbag coach Jason Mills.
