2008 graduate Dirtbag Tyler Hanover has been named "Captain" of the Dirtbag baseball program announced the Dirtbag coaching staff.

Head Coach Andy Partin on Hanover:
Tyler Hanover is the epitome of what we want in a Dirtbag. He represents our baseball program as well as any player that we have ever had, and we have had a lot of great ones.

Hanover's efforts on and off the field have been noted by our staff since the day we were able to call him a Dirtbag. He has all of the qualities we are looking for in a Dirtbag. He's a team guy all the way and he sacrifices whatever it takes to help our program win baseball games.

Hanover is a terrific baseball player and it is the residue of a lot of hard work. He has worked extremely hard on and off the field to prepare himself for our season and his game has really elevated as a result.

If a younger player wants to see how you should play the game, I encourage you to attend one of our games and watch "Nails" go to work.

We are very proud to call Tyler Hanover "Captain" of the Dirtbags.
