The Dirtbags continue to dominate on the National scene. The Dirtbags landed in the National Championship game at the Perfect Game Underclassman World Wood Bat Championship this past weekend, but fell short to the McKinney Marshals (TX).

The Dirtbags are National Runners-Up in 2007 after finishing in the Final Four the past two years at the Underclassman World Wood Bat Championship in Fort Myers.

"After falling 1-0 in our opener it was really nice to see our guys bounce back and reel off 6 wins against outstanding teams to advance to the National Championship game. I am so proud of my guys. We've got a great group of young, talented and hungry guys. We're looking forward to the opportunity again next year," said Head Coach Andy Partin.
